David Rests and Celebrates in Bariloche
After the qualification of the national team for the final in the Davis Cup, David Nalbandian, the man from Córdoba, took some days off to rest in the south of the country. Far away from the debilitation suffered in the series against Russia, where Argentina tightly beat Russia 3-2, he travelled to Bariloche, and in the afternoon went skiing to Cerro Catedral. The man from Unquillo arrived in the city together with Marcos Ligato, who is a rally racing driver and his partner in the Tango Rally Team, and stayed in a house. Although he could not avoid people taking him photos in Catedral- he even posed for some tourists-, David avoided coming into contact with the press. Nalbandian skied in Catedral some previous winters. When the three men reached the hill, they stayed for a while chatting in the Travesía building, at the bottom of the mountain, where they got the equipment to ski. Then they went up the hill using the Amancay cable car and skied almost the whole afternoon in the south area of the place. There, at about 3 p.m., they had lunch in the La Roca restaurant and at 4 they came back to the ski slope to go some more times down the mountain. Finally, the group crossed to the north of the hill and went down by the six-people chair. David got out of the actions to choose the venue of the final, scheduled between the 21st and 23rd of November. Apart from Córdoba and Buenos Aires, now Mar del Plata, San Juan and Salta also want to be the venue.
