Nalbandian in the Final in Stockholm
“King” David showed his crown once again in Stockholm. In the early hours of today, the ATP top pre-qualified knocked the Finnish Jarkko Nieminen out 6-2 and 6-1, and made his way to the final where he will face the winner of the match between the Swedish Robin Soderling, whom David defeated in an epic match in the Davis Cup in April, and the amazing Japanese Kei Nishikori. The man from Unquillo reached the final by beating the American Bobby Reynolds, the Swedish Joachim Johansson and the Spaniard Albert Montañes, without losing one set and losing only five games at the most on each match. This is the first final he will play since March this year in the Acapulco ATP. In 2008 he has won one title, in the Buenos Aires ATP, last February. David is 4-1 over Soderling but he has never faced Nishikori before.
