David displayed a Brilliant Tennis in Paris
Paris really suits “King” David. That is what he showed yesterday when he taught a tennis lesson to the world´s number four, the Scottish Andy Murray 7-6 (3) and 6-3, in just one hour and 43 minutes. The first set was neck to neck, Murray was highly effective in his serves and David counteracted with his return shots. This way the Scottish got eight aces and won 81 per cent of the points with his first serves. But in the second set, the man from Unquillo improved his serves and began to impose conditions in the match, till he once again won. He will face the Russian Nikolay Davydenko whom he has known for a long time and to whom he is 5-4; however, David lost the last two times he faced the Russian. David is playing a great tennis and is a firm candidate to reach the final. His tennis raises hopes that he will defend the title successfully.
