Nalbandian: Things will be Different after the Davis
“King” David may add this weekend the pearl of the Davis Cup to his crown. To do so, after a week off (they went to Juan Ignacio Chela´s weeding), he returned to train yesterday. David showed that he does not just play; he was the one who approved the surface of the Islas Malvinas stadium, after comings and goings about the painting of the carpet. “He also harangued the team: “If we win the Davis Cup, things will be different”. It is him, more than anybody else, who has the feeling that the “ensaladera” (salad bowl) is close to stay at home and that a victory will mark the history of tennis in Argentina for ever. This is why he is now just training, silently and focused on the aim of national sports. This week, he will follow the routine: press conference on Tuesday, drawing lots on Thursday and playing on Friday. Then there won´t be margin of error. Our Website will be daily reporting from Mar del Plata every step given by the “King”.
