A Rough Time in Monte Carlo
One more time the Russian Nikolay Davydenko stood in his way. The Russian eliminated David Nalbandian 6-4, 5-7 and 6-3 in two hours and 31 minutes, in the fourth round of the Masters 1000 in Monte Carlo. The man from Unquillo could not keep his game regular and was defeated. David’s main problem was his serves; he served five aces but six double-faults. It was a neck-to-neck match, but Davydenko took advantage attacking in the second serves and took advantage of 7 out of the 19 break points he had. Now he will get ready to play the ATP 500 in Barcelona next week.
