In 10 Days, David is to return to the Courts to train
The hip surgery, due to a complicated injury in the labrum, made him leave the courts. But in just ten days, “King” David will pick up his racket again on a tennis court as part of the rehabilitation and recovery process. “In ten days, I’ll be playing again...I know I have to go little by little in the beginning. I’ll play 20 minutes each day and do moderate exercises. I have to start calmly with those movements which are exclusively part of tennis”, he said. “Competing again is not a short-term objective. I don’t want to rush things. The plan is to do things according to schedule and start when I’m ready. The idea is to start at the Australia Open, in January next year", he added.
