Nalbandian went 69 Positions down in the ATP Ranking
There is still a bit more than a month to go before David makes his comeback to courts- that will be at the exhibition in San Juan together with Cañas, Gaudio and the Chilean Massú- and he goes on going down in the ranking. This week he is ranked 69th as he lost the points won in the tournaments played in October 2008 (Final in Basel and final in the ATP Masters 1000 in Paris). However, the player from Unquillo is not worried; he is focused on getting his level of game back. “If I play well, then the ranking will be fine", he states. His comeback to the circuit will be at the ATP in Auckland next January.
