David has Faith in himself for the Davis, 2010
The aim is clear: Nalbandian wants to get his level back so as to play the series against Sweden, in the first round, between March 5th and 7th, 2010. He knows that making a debut as visiting team against a country with a long history is complicated, but not impossible. “There are many factors we depend on for the Davis: the drawing of lots, the opponent... Not all the matches are played in one month. But it would be nice to win since Argentina has never got it”, he stated. “We have to face two difficult opponents from the beginning and being the visiting team. We’ll see what happens. But if we are in good conditions, with Juan Martín, we have some chances”, he added. So then, are we going to Sweden to play indoors with no chances? “That would be a silly excuse, because it is not true that Argentina cannot play indoors in another place. We have the same team to win at home and as the visiting team”. Very clear.
