David goes back to Grass in Queens
The English tradition will be a condiment in the traditional tournament of Queens. There, the man from Cordoba, David Nalbandian, will go back to grass, the same surface on which in 2002 he accomplished one of his greatest achievements that placed him among the great revelations in world sports that year. At that moment he made his debut in Wimbledon and reached the finals when he lost to the then world number one, Lleyton Hewitt. In Queens he is the fourth pre-qualified and will face the winner of the first round match between the Israeli Dudi Sela and the Serbian Viktor Troicki. The man from Unquillo has faced neither of them.
